Just Do What You Love

In cricket, 70% of people love batting, 20% enjoy both batting and bowling, and about 9% love bowling. But only 1% truly love fielding and I’m one of them.

Let me tell you a short story. A few years ago, my physics teacher once talked about a player named Jonty Rhodes. During a match, the moment the ball touched the bat, Jonty could already calculate where it was going and would dive in that direction. That’s how quick and smart he was. He even became Man of the Match once  just for his fielding. That story made me curious and completely changed how I looked at fielding.

Fielding is one of the most important parts of cricket. You save runs, take catches, make run outs  and every single run matters in the game.

That’s why I love fielding. I like batting and bowling too, but fielding is something I truly enjoy the most.

If you love doing something that others don’t, don’t care about what people think. Just do it, give your best, and enjoy every moment.
