There Is Always a U Turn

A few days ago, I went to Kutch with my family. I was driving the car, and at one point, I needed to take a right turn. However, I noticed some construction work blocking that side of the road, making it impossible to turn. My mother-in-law kept shouting, “We need to turn right! We need to turn right!” To make things more confusing, Google Maps was giving unclear directions.

I realized that if I took a slight left from the main road, I could eventually make the right turn. But in the confusion, I went straight instead. After driving for a few kilometers, I noticed there were no turns available. My wife kept saying we should continue a bit further, but as time passed, it became clear that we were wasting time. She asked, “Why didn’t you take that slight left?” My mother in law added again, “We should’ve taken the right turn.”

At that moment, I simply smiled and said, “There’s always a U turn available.”

From that small incident, I learned something valuable. In life, when we truly love doing something and feel it deeply in our hearts, we should follow it without hesitation or doubt. Sometimes, things don’t go according to plan. We may take the wrong road or make mistakes but remember this: there’s always a U-turn available. You can always change direction, correct your path, and start again.
